Ethan: Rogue
A 3D isometric tile-based stealth game. Avoid guards, cameras, and hack the consoles to unlock the exit!
This project used the "Ethan" character from Unity's standard assets. I was inspired by the grid movement system in XCOM and sought to create a real-time version, and combined it with some of the stealth mechanics from Metal Gear - patrolling guards with cones of vision, cameras which alert guards to your position that you can turn off, and a thermal vision mode that the player can toggle between.
As a short-term project, I ended up making a tutorial level to explain all the game design mechanics of Ethan: Rogue, although the majority of the game components are modular, making further expansion very straightforward.
